Bhojpuriya Bhanj is a
personification of 'Tit for tat'. The whole story can be summed up to it's title. A husband is too much harassed by his wife and her
brother. The wife treats her husband as a henchman. The Husband reads a magic
book and finds the remedy of it. He follows the prescript and controls his wife. The
wife and her brother who seemed earlier to be wild are tamed though the hubby himself finds that this all was just a dream and again comes under the duress of his
wife.
The presentation aimed at creating humor for the audience up to the brim though succeeded partially.. The actors seemed to be meritorious though they had been taught specifically to act feverishly to create a humor of archaic type. The clapping was expected and did happen to some extent.
The director was Ravi Bhushan ‘Babloo’ who was also handling lights. Lighting carried some proficiency issues. It took more than sufficient time in throwing light and in going off. Actors were Pravin ‘Pappu’. Priti Sinha and Abahishek Chauhan. Other artists were Arun, Rajani, Babli, Vinod, Rang Pathik, Rameshwar Kr., Mithilesh, Shabam, Shailja, Manish, Deepak, Manish and Abhishek. The stage set up of Gonu Jha and Sujit Kr 'Uma' was impressive, Make-up by Uday Sagar and Abhinmanyu Priya was fine.Sound control of Vivek Singh was super. We must hope for a much better presentation in coming days.
