टुकुर टुकुर ताकै छै सरंगो' के ओर

हमरो विधाता छै एतना कठोर।

Gazing helplessly towards the sky

Our God is so cruel, why?

हमरे अलोधन पर टिकलो छै खेल

पेटो के पटरी पर दौड़े छै रेल

संघरी  के सुसुम सुसुम टपकै छै लोर

हमरो विधाता छै एतना कठोर।

The whole world moves by our precious labour

And we struggle always  just to win the hunger

Still here are tears coming out of eye

Our God is so cruel, why?

तरबा हसोतै ते रूपा के ढेर

कमियां  मासुत के फेरे पर फेर

घुड़की के लागै छि पित्तर के गोड़

हमरो विधाता छै एतना कठोर।

If you are a sycophant you worth the double

For real workers there is only trouble

So, all bow down to wrongdoers, fie!

Our God is so cruel, why?

ठनका से बमबारी, लोढ़ी के जान

मरला के मारी,  कहाबै भगवान

कांखी तर दाबने छै जिनगी के भोर

हमरो विधाता छै इतना कठोर।

Thunders drop on little innocent creature

To crush the already killed is the God’s  nature

Laughter has been taken, here is only cry 

Our God is so cruel, why?
