बाग के फूल
(Flower in the garden)
केतना सुन्दर फूल खिलल हे
आपस में सब हिलल-मिलल हे
How beautiful flower is blooming
Hanging together sight is soothing
फूलबा में राजा गुलाब
लगे हे केतना लाजवाब
Among the flower, rose is king
It's match, no one can bring
एकरा चूमे हे तितली रानी
भौंरा कहे हे मधुर कहानी
The butterfly takes a kiss
Black beetle's tale is this
भौंरा-तितली मौज मनाबे
खूशबू चारो तरफ फैलावे
Beetle and butterfly revel
Disseminate good smell
देवी देवता पर चढ़े हे फूल
केतना प्यारा लगे हे फूल
Flowers are offered to Gods
It's lovely to all, no odds
स्नेह प्यार के हे सब फूल
काँटों से मुसका रहल हे फूल
Flowers give love and affection
Even with thorns, smiling action
हँसी-खुशी लुटाबे फूल
आनन्द से भर देहे फूल
Spreads happiness and laugh
Bliss is full and not half
फूल खिलल हे बगियन में
पंछी गावे रागन में
Flowers blossomed in garden
And birds chirp in heaven
रंग-बिरंगा फूल के क्यारी
देखे में खूब लगे हे न्यारी
Flower beds, coloured print
In look, they are so distinct
कलि लगल अब मुसकाबे
फुलबन एकरा रहल मनाबे
Oh! Smile of buds rocks
Flowers come there to coax
चहुँ ओर फैलल हे जेकर प्रीत
हमहुँ सब मुस्काई मीत.
All sides whom love enthralls
With it also smile we pals.

कवि-परिचय: डॉ.बी.एन.विश्वकर्मा एक अत्यंत सक्रिय संस्कृतिकर्मी हैं जिसका प्रमाण यह है कि पटना के लगभग हर महत्वपूर्ण सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में इनकी उपस्थिति की आशा की जा सकती है. यूँ तो ये राजनीति में भी रूचि रखते हैं पर सांस्कृतिक गातिविधियाँ इनके लिए सर्वप्रमुख है. स्वभाव से स्पष्टवक्ता तथा खड़ी-खड़ी बातें करनेवाले होने के कारण अक्सरहाँ इन्हें अनेक प्रकार के विरोधों का सामना भी करना पडता है. इनका पहला कविता-संग्रह आने की तैयारी में है. फेसबुक पर 'साहित्य संस्कृति संसार, बिहार' के नाम से चलाये जा रहे लोकप्रिय ग्रुप की स्थापना में इनका बड़ा योगदान है.
Introduction of the Poet: Dr. B. N. Vishwakarma is an amazingly active cultural activist the proof of which is that he may be expected to be present almost in all the important cultural programs in Patna. Although he is also interested in politics, the love to cultural activity is the prime for him. Because of his being a straightforward and bold speaker, he has to face a number of oppositions. His first collection of self-composed poems is in progress. On facebook, he is the founder member of a popular group titled as 'Sahitya Sanskririti Sansar, Vihar'.
