गहना न घरs बाड़े

बइठल बानी मन मारे

This – a day of festival

Every one is happy and jovial

No ornaments with me here

I have been sitting in despair

How I adorn to look good and fair.

घरs मे न दाना रहे

न चुल्हा के ठेकाना रहे

आ लरिका रोवत रहे

ममता झsखत रहे

बेची अइनी बनिया से हार

No grains the pan I shove

No way to enlighten the stove

My motherhood helplessly lying

It rained whole day ignoring my pray

My saree was so ragged

My parts of body were visible

Being sad I faced glare of people

Went to the shop and gave my zill there

   डॉ. रमेश पाठक भेज्पपुरी और हिन्दी के काफी सम्वेदनशील कवि हैं. इनका एक हिन्दी कविता-संग्रह 'बूँद-बूँद स्वाति' वातायन, पटना से प्रकाशित हो चुका है. इनकी अनेक कविताएँ, कहानियाँ विभिन्न सम्ममानित पत्र-पत्रिकाओं जैसे- नई धारा, हिन्दुस्तान, दैनिक भास्कर आदि में प्रकाशित होते रहे हैं तथा ये आकाशवाणी पर अनेक बार विज्ञान शोध, साहित्य और सामाजिक मुद्दों पर कार्यक्रम देते रहे हैं. इन्हें कवि-गोष्ठी के प्रतिष्ठित मंचों पर भरपूर सराहना मिलती रही है. पेशे से ये ए.एन.कॉलेज, पटना में प्राणीशास्त्र के प्राध्यापक हैं. 

    Dr. Ramesh Pathak is a highly versatile poet of Bhojpapuri and Hindi. One of his Hindi poems-collection 'Bud-Bud-Swati' has been published in Vatthan, Patna. Many of his poems, stories have been published in different symposical journals such as New Section, Hindustan, Dainik Bhaskar etc. And they have been giving programs on science, research, literature and social issues many times. He has received great appreciation on the prestigious forums of the Poetry. From the profession, he is a professor of zoology in A.N.College, Patna.
