A contemporary was dealt with in very interesting manner on the stge of Kalidas Rangalaya. Female feticide is a common phenomena nowadays which is creating a formidable menace. This will decimate all equations of the very institution of marriage. If there are no sufficient number of girls then how the males would get a life-partner. The male head of family is wishing that the coming baby (of his son and his wife) in their family should be son whereas the matriarch is aspiring a daughter. A verbal fight ensues. As soon as the daughater-in-law becomes pregnant and it is known that this is female child, the head of family decides to get the foetus aborted. The news of plan about female feticide comes to police and they arrest all the culprits.
The presentation was witty.The audience applauded profusely again and again. All the artists acted/supported very well.
