'Shilpotsava' organised by Ministry of Textiles (Govt of India) from 13 to 19 April, 2018 at MPCC, Bhartiya Nritya Kala Mandir, Frazer Road, Patna

SC Artisans are making considerable sales in Shilpotsav'

Definitely a good initiative by Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India in showcasing the SC  artisans by  the exhibition provides a good opportunity to sale the handicrafts, paintings and artifacts made by the class of people exclusively know for their brilliant hereditary talent in the respective field. The artists here are mostly trained and even providing training to others who aim to perpetuate the art by passing it on to the next generation. The irony is that the people who have unparalleled talent of art and who are the biggest torch bearer of ethnic aesthetic sense are relegated to the last rung of the society. It is high time to give such people a platform at the heart of the city where thousands of people may drop at, see and buy various products without making a pre-designed plan for shopping. This special marketing event  meets the same purpose in a true sense.
