The play was a tale of woes suffered by a drummer family. A widowed girl is pestered by two villagers frequently. She takes a bold step to marry a drummer. Her decision to re-marry is not liked by the two ill-intent guys who were in habit of teasing the poor girl. After marriage there is a plateau for some time as no issue takes birth for considerable period. The two goons are happy on the despair of the drummer couple. But soon after the wife of drummer conceives a child and gives birth to a healthy child. The above ruffians fret and fume at the onset of good fortune in the house of the drummer family. They hatch a nasty plan and accompany a group of musician devotees that was going towards the drummer's house for blessing the new-born boy. Reaching there all of them dance with religious chants, Seeing everyone lost in merriment one of the rogue youth takes the baby in his custody and poisons him. The infant is dead giving rise to long trail of pitiful wails. Still, when a person arrives there searching for the drummer as some old man has died in the village and they require the drummer for the funeral procession. The play reaches to its climax when the wailing mother with her dead infant in her arms pronounces that her drummer husband will still not desist from his duty for the society and will go for the funeral of the old villager living  away his own dead son. And this really happens.

Direction of Md. Jony was bolstered by the matured acting of the artists. He could have taken more efforts to save the play from becoming a tryingly cumbersome one. The actors gave their best performances. Light focused promptly without any delay and sound system worked well. The drummer also acted like a matured artist while he was reportedly in his debut avatar. The wife of the Mridangiya (drummer) Rubi Khatun is a established actor who did not left any lag in terms of dialogue delivery and body language. The countenance and expressions of the goons were impressive and the audience did not hesitate to give  a warm ovation with clapping even to the characters who caused nausea in their minds for the discharge of odious works as per the story. The villagers did justice with their characters. The music by Md. Jony was sonorous and the viewers tasted the Bihari folk in their original sweetest form. The set design and make-up matched with the demand of the script.
