Raaga staged 'Dus Dino ka Anashan' in Patna on 25.4.2018

An individual's motive metamorphosed as a mass movement.

Bannu gets a glimpse of the beauty of a married girl and was moonstruck.  In a state of total  infatuation he is thinking to devise the ways to get his newly found love dumping all ethics in a back-burner. A godman Sanakidas arrives there and on  being asked to suggest the way of finding the fond woman by hook or crook, Sanakidas advises him to go for a hunger strike till death. When Bannu starts his hunger strike, it is used by a politician to it's logical metamorphosis. Now a movement which is driven with absolutely individual motive is termed as a mass movement for mass welfare. All tantrums of politics suddenly comes into play. Caste, religion and several other considerations are in air. A Committee in constituted to look into the matter. And ultimately the politician wins in turning everything into his favour. The whole play deplores the state of democracy nowadays in the whole world. The system which had been created with a pious intention of coming over the lacunae of military rule and monarchy has now been reduced to a farce.

The show was thoroughly entertaining and message emerges so naturally that nobody notices he is watching something more than a comedy. Harishankar Parsai shows his exceptional talent of creating satirical script from the common happenings in the surrounding world..The body language of Hiralal Roy (Bannu) and Rubi Khatoon  (Sabitri) was impressive. In the last scene when Sabitri comes in the get-up of a bridegroom with a garland in her hands  and an almost dead Bannu goes with a garland to put it into the neck of the girl, everybody was struck by the sheer pinch of extreme tragedy behind the ostentatious comedy.  Bannu falls down on the ground for ever.

Annu Priya in the role of a TV journalist was amazing. She posed truly as a digging journalist.  Ranvijay Singh, Shubham Kaushik,  Nandkishore Kr, , Abhishek Kr, Rqahul Kr, Md. Sadaruddin, Rohit Chandra, Aditya Ganjan all did justice with their respective characters. Randhir Kr, Roshan Kr, Aditya, Rohit Chandra, Aditya Kr. Gunjan, Rahul Ravi, Abhishek Raj, Rajiv Roy, Probodh Vishwakarma, Rubi Khanun, Md. Sadaruddin Shukdev Prasad, Randhir Kr., Manish Mahiwal, Bhpendra Kumar, Manish Mahiwal, Bhupendra and Annu Priya extended their valuable support from backstage, Sunil Bihari a very good singer and actor had directed the play who won the standing applause of the audience. Music was not used in the later part of the play. Set design and make-up were well.
