कविता-1

एक संग दर पे अपना क़िस्सा सुना के देखो

लौट आएँगी सदाएँ दस्तक लगा के देखो

Tell your tale to whom, heart turned into a rock

Your call will come back, just try to knock 

तुम दूर से किसी पर कैसे नज़र रखोगे

जिसको भी देखना हो अपना बना के देखो

How will you keep vigil, from such a distance

For knowing him better, take him to your flock

दुनिया की ख़ाक छानो कुछ भी नहीं मिलेगा

है पास में ही मंज़िल नज़रें घुमा के देखो

Go rummaging the world, you won't get anything

And the goal is just beside you, look to get shock

लगती है आग कैसे, किस तरह घर जला है

अपने मकाँ पे यारो बिजली गिरा के देखो

How does it catch fire and how house is burnt

To know, let thunderbolt come to roof and walk

सब क़ैद हो चुके हैं अपने ही दायरों में

आता है कौन तुम तक "अख्तर " बुला के देखो

All are captive of their self- drawn circles

Who comes to you 'Akhar', give a call mock.

कविता-2

मैं चला अपना घर जलाने को

रौशनी चाहिए ज़माने को

ज़िन्दगी जिनके नाम है अपनी

ज़हर लाए हैं वो पिलाने को

कल जो रहते थे शीश महलों में

अब तरसते हैं वो ठिकाने को

दिल की दुनिया तुम्हीं से है आबाद

तुम न सोंचो यहाँ से जाने को

मुफलिसी करती रही ज़ुबानी ऐतेजाज

झोंपड़े गिरते रहे इवाँ बनाने को

शहर ने लुटी कमाई अब साहिल पे हूँ

चन्द पैसे भी नहीं उस पार जाने को

अपनी आहों से हज़रते 'नसीम'

सोई दुनिया को चले हैं जगाने को.

कवि परिचय- मो. नसीम अख्तर, भारतीय रेल में कार्यालय अधीक्षक के तौर पर कार्यरत हैं और तमाम व्यस्तताओं के बावजूद अच्छी कवितायेँ लिखते रहते हैं और पटना की कवि-गोष्ठियों, मुशायरों में अपनी उपस्थिति दर्शाते हैं. इनकी गज़ले बिलकुल आसान भाषा में होती है जो सुननेवाले के जेहन में तुरंत उतर जाती है. इनकी रचनाएँ रेलवे की विभागीय पत्रिकाओं जैसे रेलवाणी आदि के साथ अन्य अखबारों और पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशित होती रहती हैं. आकर्षक व्यक्तित्व के धनी मो. नसीम विविध सोशल साइट्स पर बहुत ही लोकप्रिय हैं और इनकी एक-एक रचना को सैकड़ों लोग पसंद करते हैं और इनसे मिलने भी दूर-दूर के शहरों से लोग आते रहते हैं. इनकी ग़ज़लें कठोर मात्रा सम्बन्धी अनुशासन से मुक्त लगती है पर उनमें आज के मुद्दे भरे हैं.

Introduction of the poet: Md. Nasim Akhtar is an Office Superintendent in Indian Railways and even after his workloads in the office, he prefers to use his off-duty in writing poems (gazals). He gets a lot of invitations for poem recital on various stages.  His poems and stories are published not only in the Railway magazines like Railwani but also in the newspapers and other magazines of repute. Possessing an attractive personality he is very popular on various social sites and many people come to meet him from far cities. His poems (gazals) seem to be free from the strict discipline of meters, still packed with the burning issues of our nowadays society.
