रंगयात्रा के पटना में मंचित नाटक 'ठगिनिया नैना मटकावे' के कुछ दृश्य (Some pics of the play 'Thaginiya Naina Matkawe' staged in Patna by Rangyatra,

Patna. 11th of July. A play written and directed by Harivansh was played at Kalidas Rangalaya, Patna by Bhikhari Thakur Sangeet, Rangyatra, Patna. The play centered upon the malpractices and corruption in Police and Judiciaary. The whole play was full of comedy and music and the large gathering in the auditorium enjoyed it fully.

      An old man is perplexed as his beautiful and comparatively younger wife wants to dye her hair so as to make herself fit to join politics. The old man Safadar Singh threatens his wife several times that he would make her widow and send her to jail. On this, the wife lodge a complaint to the police. Safadar Singh takes the help of Upadra and the police arrests him. With the help of legal manipulations and false witnesses, the order is passed and Upadra gets punishment in place of Safadar Singh.

    The folk style of Bhikari Thakur in which the story was presented not only made the audience burst into laughter but also reflected the present scenario of police and politics which are reeking with corruption. Writer-director Harivansh and all the artists are worthy to be applauded.

      

पटना। 11 जुलाई हरिवंश द्वारा लिखित और निर्देशित एक नाटक, भिखारी स्कूल संगीत, रंगयात्रा  ने कालिदास रंगालय, पटना में खेला था। यह नाटक पुलिस और न्याय-व्यवस्था में व्याप्त भ्रष्टाचार पर केंद्रित है। पूरा नाटक हास्य और संगीत से भरा था और सभागार में बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद लोगों ने इसका भरपूर आनन्द लिया.

       एक बूढ़ा आदमी उलझन में है क्योंकि उसकी सुंदर और जवान पत्नी अपने बाल डाई करना चाहती है ताकि उसे राजनीति में शामिल होने के लिए उपयुक्त समझा जा सके। बूढ़ा सफदर सिंंह अपनी पत्नी की राजनीति में शामिल होने की इच्छा को देख कर इतना खीज जाता है कि उसे धमकी देना शुरू कर देता है कि वह उसको विधवा बना कर जेल में डलवा देगा. उसकी पत्नी तंग आकर पुलिस में शिकायत करती है. सफदर सिंंह इस पर उपद्रा की मदद लेता है और पुलिस उपद्रा को ही सफदर सिंह समझ कर गिरफ्तार कर लेती है. बाद में कानूनी दाँव-पेंच और झूठी गवाही के सहारे सजा का आदेश पारित होता है और उपद्रा ही सफदर सिंंह के स्थान पर सजा पाता है.

       नाटक को जिस तरह से भिखारी ठाकुर की लोक-शैली में प्रस्तुत किया गया उस ने न केवल दर्शकों को हँसी से लोट-पोट कर दिया बल्कि यह पुलिस और न्याय-व्यवस्था में की वर्तमान स्थिति को भी दर्शाया जो भ्रष्टाचार से पूरी तरह से ग्रस्त है। लेखक-निर्देशक हरिवंश और सभी कलाकार को प्रशंसा के पात्र हैं।
