कते सोचै छी अहाँ चुप्पे रहै छी सदिखन

ठोर खोलू आ हृदय सँ किछु बाजू अखन

You think so much and always you keep mum

Just open your mouth and just speak, my chum

जते भेटल अछि ओकरा तS सम्हारू नीक सँ

जेते माँगै छै ओते केकरा भेटैये कखन

The amount you have, just take care of that

That much you demand, you never get the sum

ई तS निश्चित जे आओल से जेबे करत

फर्क की के आबैये के जाइये तखन

Definite, who has come would go some day

No matter then who went and who did come

माथा काशी मे नबाऊ कि सिजदा काबा मे

दूनू एके प्रभु व्यापक चहुँ ओर जखन

Whether I should bow to Kashi or in Kaba

God is always everywhere for you to welcome

किये पूछै छी कतS छी आ हम केहन छी

जतS छोड़लहुँ छी ओतS अहाँ रखलहुँ जेहन

Why you ask where I am and how I am

Left and as kept by you here I stuck as gum.

एगो अहाँ के यादि केला सँ बाकी सभ के बिसरि गेलहुँ

हिया मे प्रेमक रोग जे लागल, हम बाकी दु:ख बिसरि गेलहुँ

समयक धार मे बहिते जाइए, सुख-दुख दूनू कात नेने

अहाँ संगे बीताबै काल, समयो के सुध बिसरि गेलहुँ

मदिरालय के निशाँ क्षणिक अछि, साँझ चढ़ैए, भोर उतरैए

नयनक मदिरा पीबते माते, मधुशालाक मुख बिसरि गेलहुँ

नेनापन मे हम नहिँ बुझिलहुँ, प्रेमक खेलक राज गहींर

प्रेमक खेल तS आगिक दरिया, जाहि मे अबुझ उतरि गेलहुँ.

कवि-परिचय: शिवम दरभंगा (ग्राम- तारालाही) के निवासी हैं और वर्तमान में स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया में ए.जी.एम. के उच्च पद पर कार्यरत हैं. अपनी व्यतताओं के बावजूद इनकी काव्य-साधना श्लाघनीय है. इनके पिता अर्जुन नारायण चौधरी भी बहुत उच्च कोटि के साहित्यकार हैं और 'वर्तमान में भक्त समाज' मासिक पत्रिका के सम्पादक भी हैं. इन्होंने एफ.एम.एस. (दिल्ली विश्व.) से एमबीए भी किया है और आरम्भ से ही बहुत मेधावी छात्र रहे हैं. इनकी रूचि दर्शन शास्त्र में कहीं ज्यादा है और हर नववर्ष के आरम्भ में ये एक दार्शनिक लेख लिखते हैं जो काफी चर्चित रहा करती है. इनके लिखे गीतों पर अनेक ऑडियो कैसेट निकल चुके हैं और इनकी अनेक रचनाएँ पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशित हो चुकी हैं. इनकी काव्य रचना में इनकी पत्नी रूपम का पूर्ण सहयोग रहता है.

Introduction of the Poet: Shivam is a resident of Darbhanga (Gram-Taralahi) and currently  is employed as an AGM in State Bank of India. Despite his hectic schedules, his dedication for poetry is admirable. Her father, Arjun Narayan Chaudhary, is also a  writer of high standing and is presently editor of  'Bhakta Samaj'- a monthly magazine . He has completed MBA from  F.M.S. (Delhi Univ) and has been a very meritorious student since the very beginning. His interest is far more in philosophy and at the beginning of every New Year, he writes a philosophical article which is quite popular. Many audio cassettes have been released on the songs written by him, and many of his works have been published in magazines. In his poetic composition, his wife Roopam gives her full cooperation.
