झकाझक

गोर

भउजी के दाल

गमकइत ...

पनटिटोर ..!
The complexion of my 'Bhauji' 
(Bhauji = brother's wife)
Milky white
Savory and watery pulses
Cooked by Bhauji spright

भउजी के साड़ी

अजनास 

साड़ी के

फाटल कोर
The saree of Bhauji
(Saree = traditional attire of women)
Is a peculiar one
The sides of which are
badly torn.

भउजी

नल से दूर दमयन्ती

पूस के भोर

भउजी के आँख

मखान पोखर में हल्का हिलकोर
Bhauji
A Damyanti, separated from Nal
(Nal is a mythical king and Damyanti her beloved)
Is a mournful morning
The eyes of Bhauji
Is like in a pond of makhan
('makhan' is a kind of fruit that grow in water)
Slightly rippling

भउजी के आँख

भादो के भरल-पूरल बादल

भउजी के आँख में लोर

ऊ लोर

जेक्कर न कोई ओर

न कोई छोर।
The eyes of Bhauji
Is like a cloud in rainy season
With tears in her eyes
The mass of tears 
Has no end so far
And can still rise.

 कदलीबन में (बज्जिका काविता)
In the banana orchard (Bajjika Poem)

कदलीबन में बिलमs बलमजी

बिलमs कदलीबन में
Stay in banana orchard, sweetheart
Stay in banana orchard

बीजू बन में बहुत बिलमलs

छाँकी जइसन तनलs लमलs

लम्मs केरा-घउर-फरल बन

भगजोगनी के मन में

बिलमs कदलीबन में
You stayed long in the bamboo garden
  You bowed like twigs and did straighten 
Now please bow down as a bunch of banana
In eyes of firefly, canard
Stay in the banana orchard

हाड़ तोड़ कs मेहनत कइली

मेहनत के सुख पिया न पइली

महाअधम तिरिया के जीबन

लुचबा लटकल तन में

बिलमs कदलीबन में
Excess hard labour I did
Still no money to live, candid
The female's life - too miserable
Keep safe from scoundrels is hard
Stay in banana orchard

खाली खखरी खनके जिनगी

बूझ रहल जिनगी के चिनगी

करजा में बूरल है परजा

लगल आग तन-मन में

बिलमs कदलीबन में
Life is ringing like a hollow grain
Life is ending, fading it's flame
The subject are devastated by loans
The body and mind are charred
Stay in banana orchard

कदलीबन के भाग जगा दs

नयका निम्मन राग जगा दs

इहाँ बिराजs बासुदेब बन

निम्मन नयकापन में

बिलमs कदलीबन में
Please wake up the banana garden's fate
Please wake up the novel melody great
Sit here like God Vasudeva
Remain afresh, off-guard
Stay in the banana orchard

Bhagwat Sharan Jha 'Animesh'
